..we believe strongly in guiding our congregation as they grow and become strong in spirit, and one of the greatest gifts we have to help us is baptism.
Our baptism sets us out on a lifelong journey that is characterized by our relationship to God, our relationship to our faith community, and the wider world.
Yes. When a child is baptized, that child becomes a part of the community of God. As such, church membership is required of parents so that your family can continue on your faith journey as a unit.
No. Because the Church teaches that baptism is for all ages, we believe that any time is appropriate for people within our congregation to receive this gift of God’s love.
No. We follow the guideline that, “A person is baptized once. Because of the unfailing nature of God’s promise, and because of God’s once-for-all action in Christ, Baptism is not repeated.”
For more information on scheduling a baptism, or becoming members of the church prior to a child’s baptism, you can contact the church office at 308-254-3124 or fill out our contact form.
Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Therefore we have been buried with him by baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. (Romans 6:3-5)
Here at Holy Trinity, we believe that we all need healing, and to be made whole through the love of God.
We are excited to grow as a congregation, and invite you to join us as we do God’s work in Christ’s name for the life of the world.
