Meet Our Staff
PASTOR CHAD RADEMACHER
Pastor Chad Rademacher joined our church family in August of this year. He and his family moved here from Iowa, but have roots in Nebraska. Pastor Chad was ordained and installed here at Holy Trinity on August 22. We look forward to working with Pastor Chad and are anxious to see what God has in store for both Pastor Chad and our church.

Administrative Assistant | Building Custodial and Maintenance
Nancy Gipfert serves as Holy Trinity’s Administrative Assistant. She has been a member of Holy Trinity for
40+ years. Her greatest joy in life are her kids and grandkids. She also enjoys traveling, gardening, and reading. Her Husband, Dean Gipfert, serves as Holy Trinity’s janitor. Dean also works full time at Wheatbelt Public Power where he has been employed for 43 years. Dean is a 60+ year member of Holy Trinity and is proud that he has been baptized, confirmed, and married at Holy Trinity and that all of his children & grandchildren have been either baptized, confirmed and married at Holy Trinity or all of the above. The Church is Deans passion (along with his family) and he works tirelessly to keep the building and grounds in tip top shape. Dean & Nancy recently celebrated 43 years of wedded bliss!
Celebration Sound Worship Coodinator
Katherine Weisbrook serves Holy Trinity as our Celebration Sound Worship Coodinator. She tirelessly works with the Celebration Sound band in coming up and implementing our music for the services. Katherine is a busy mother of three beautiful children and works full time at Adams Industries. She is married to Tyler Weisbrook.
Director of Congregational Care
Gretchen Emerson serves our church as the Director of Congregational Care. She does so much behind the scenes from visitations to helping with office duties. Gretchen is also a grandma and GREAT-Grandma and works at Cabela’s.
Carla Brauer is one of our organists here at Holy Trinity. She uses her talent at the organ and the keyboard during our services as well as funerals and weddings. Craig, Carla’s husband, may not be on the payroll, but is always available to help with any tech issues we have issues with. Carla is a counselor at Sidney Public Schools.
Sonia Havorka is our other organist. She also adds her talents to our morning worship as well as stepping up to play at weddings and funerals when needed. Sonia works at Rauner & Associates. Her husband Dave owns his own business.
Council Vice President
I presently serve as Council Secretary. I was Council President for the past two years. I am in the second year of my second three-year term on council. I am part of the Celebration Sound, a singer, and am very involved as a tech for Sunday services. I am very active in continuing the process of improving our live streaming service so that we can share our service with homebound, those away from Sidney, and those watching for the first time and looking for a church home. I have been married to my wife, Tammy, for 20 years. I have two children and three grandchildren. My son is in his first year of Tech school.
I have been a member of HTLC since 2001 and a member of the church council since January of 2018. I was a full-time truck driver and mechanic for many years and came to Sidney in the summer of 1995 and retired completely in 2018. While I have no particular passion, I believe that serving when and where I can is the best way to serve the Lord. Proverbs 30:7-9
Hello!! My name is Joyelle Kennedy, and I am a near lifelong member of Holy Trinity. I’ve been a part of the Sidney Community for more than 40 years. I married my high school sweetheart in 1996, and we have three fun-loving children together. I’ve felt a strong draw to God from a young age and am passionate about others knowing his love. I’ve volunteered in many ways at Holy Trinity; Church Council, Wedding Coordinator, Worship Assistant, Sunday School Teacher, Confirmation Teacher, Youth Activities, Event Coordinator, Funeral Dinner Committee, and some special renovation projects. I am privileged to lead our Funeral Dinner Committee with a host of wonderful Christian women. I feel my current calling is letting our High School youth know God’s love. You’ll see me teaching our Confirmation class with Pastor Chad and leading our youth at Sunday morning Breakfast Club with my lifelong friend Beth Kokjer. I pray our paths cross someday. God’s Blessings. Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
